| The restoration laboratory at the Library of Alexandria's Centre of Manuscripts and Rare Books, in Egypt, is now considered one of the most modern sites in the world for recovery and preservation of antique documents. The organization has already worked on over 2,000 rare books, 500 manuscripts and 120 maps.
