It contains the main information about the libraries as: The contact information, collection types, forms, subject fields, library's patrons, the catalogues, the capacity of the library building, and its different regulations.

The directory aims to draw the real image of Libraries society, and thereby points to the development and automation of the Egyptian libraries.
